I Love This GIRL

She makes life wonderful...on most days anyway. For Mother's Day she made the sweetest card at school.

There are premade sentences on the card and she had to fill them in.

My Mom is as pretty as an: Angel.

My Mom can do many things! I think she's best at: Scrapbooking.

My mom is smart! She even knows: how to clean the house.

Cleaning the house was my favorite....only from the mouths of babes.

Actually got a shot of her praying. Journaling says: She talks to God and asks for happiness in the world, peace. animals in the shelter, children in the hospital, and her mommy, daddy, and Albert. The peace and happiness comes from her watching the news with her Daddy (something she should NOT do). She is too young, in my opinion, to know some of the things that goes on in this world. The children in the hospital is something she knows well about. She loves to go to the store so she can buy toys for them to donate. And of course the animals is just something I have ingrained in her. Got to protect those animals as much as we can. The funny thing is is that she never asks anything for herself.

Bad Girls Sneaks

Wooowhooo...it's that time again. Time for some sneak-a-roos of the May Bad Girls kit. This has to be my favorite kit so far

Lotta changes on the blog....finally. New color, new banner, I also added some of my favorite layouts on the side bar. I will add to them in the next few days.

I am still awaiting the arrival of the Bad Girls kit. I'm thinking I;m REALLY going to loooooove this kit. It has my name written all over it. I wish I could give some hints but unfortunately I can't so evryone will have to be patient just like me. I never said I was patient though. I am really going to have to go stalk the mail man. If you are not registered at Bad Girls then go do it because we have been having so much flippin fun over there. I have been laughing so hard that tears just stream down my face when I'm on the message board.

Currently I have no new pictures that I can share because I think I will save them for the kit so you are out of luck. However, I always have a picture of Albert to share. And because I have a new found reader to my blog, I have to share it. My new reader is Hobie and he is a boarder collie from California. And check this out....he has his very own blog. He is one super cool dog. I mean who ever thought a dog could type??? I know Albert can but I didn't know of any other dogs that could. Go check out Hobie and give him so love.

Okay this post was as about random as Aleida's. I don't think anything I just said made a lick of sense.

ANOTHER new post

Obviously I need to update since I have had some emails wanting to know where the heck I have been. I so wish I could say I have een too busy to update but the truth is....I have been too LAZZZZZZZZZY! Wish I had some exciting news to share or some brilliantly done layouts. Well Albert wanted to show everyone his super clean teeth.

Let's see, I've been playing around with photoshop. It has become an addiction and I blame it all on Gloria Froese. Doesn't she know by now I have an addictive personality??????? Just messing with you G. So let me just show ya'll a photo I have been working on. PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID, I'm really not this scary looking. Are you ready...are you sure?

Ya"ll can stop laughing now....it wasn't that funny.

It's OVER

Thank goodness, it's over!Albert's surgery is over and he is now a unisex dog. Don't get me wrong though, he is still a little stud muffin. Everything went well except he had to have one tooth extracted, And girls, I have never seen teeth this white in my life. It's really quite amazing. So if any of you have dogs...please start brushing their teeth. Luckily, my boy got to come home yesterday and he was a pitiful sight. His eyes were all gooped up and it looked like he had been crying...talk about breaking my heart. On a happier note, Albert got a hand drawn card that was signed by everyone at the clinic It was really cute.

NEW POST

Ok so I have had a request for a new post. And to be honest I have had nothing interesting to say lately. So I will just ramble today.

My dear beloved Albert, will be having surgery on monday....on his birthday. He will be having his manhood striped away and a teeth cleaning. Yes, I know he's a little old to be neutered now, but I really had no reason to do it because he was NEVER around female dogs nor did he ever roam the neighborhood in search of them. There are NO female dogs in a neighborhood. So, after I found out he could have a higher chance of prostate cancer we decide to take away his stud stature. We were going to do it last year but then he ruptured a disc and was paralyzed. And to make a long story short, we are doing it now. After his 4 hour surgery to repair his back I am a little paranoid about this little routine surgery. Albert will be fine, it's me I'm worried about. It's hard to believe he won't be a stud anymore....oh, how they grow up so fast. At least he'll have clean too. My poor baby also has gingivitis so we will have that taken care of too. He's really gonna love me after all this. I keep trying to tell him that it's for his own good but he jusy won't listen. He is going to be so pissed at me come monday morning. He has an excellent vet so he'll be ok, right? I have given his vet strict orders to be in the bed by 9:00 so he will be bright-eyed and bushy tailed for my baby's castaration. Ooooh, that is such a horrible word...castration. Have you noticed yet that I am pretty freaked about this? Ya'll can send prayers or good vibes my way because I am really gonna need them, I'm scared! I am including some of my favorite pictures of my boy.

 

This a photo of Albert after his back surgery. He had 13 staples and of course, they had to shave all that long, flowing, beautiful hair.

I will definately update on Monday to let you all know how the surgery went and to post MORE Albert photos. Aren't ya'll just the luckiest. Ok now that I think about it this was a rather interesting post wasn't it? Now everyone knows about my boy being having his manhood taken away. I need to get a life...but, Albert is my life.

Also I want to say my friend Katie's dad has passed away. Katie, my heart goes out to you and your family. I will continue praying for all of you.

Here are my last two LOs I did and goodness were they ever quickies. It usually takes me almost a week to do a stinkin LO but these certainly didn't.

I am a Bad Girl

...no really I am. I am officially a part of the Bad Girls design team. I was completely floored when Wendy emailed me to join her team. The talent on this team is unbelievable and she asked ME...wow! I am so honored and thankful.

I have been trying to redo my blog but apparently I can't sit down long enough to finish it so just ignore it until it's completed.
